About me

My first radio amateur call was OH3MYL/ OH0MYL which I received in 1990. There have been times when I have been QRV. Work, studying...  But I guess we all have times when we need to do more in life than amateur radio. 

Lighthouses have always been interesting. I've been to many and read a lot about them over the years. For the first time I made radio contact from the lighthouse ship Kemi in 1992. 

 The farthest lighthouse I've been to has been in Aguada lighthouse Goa, India.

There are 64 lighthouses in Finland. It is not possible to get to know all of them, but there is still plenty to see and experience, and the history of Finnish lighthouses is interesting.

The Lighthouse Society of Finland takes care of lighthouses, organizes repairs and records history.
